Founders Junior Council, a DIA offshoot of young
professionals, began Fash Bash in 1970. From then on the fundraiser became one
of Detroit’s most conspicuous fundraising events, garnering attention from the
most prominent figures in metro Detroit’s fashion and art scenes and raising more than $44 million to date.
This year, Lincoln awed Fash Bash attendees with a fresh Lincoln Black
Label theme – The Muse – exemplified in the all-new 2016 Lincoln MKX. The
automaker brought the eventful night to a culmination with the Lincoln Black
Label Afterglow.
The Muse harkens back to a 1920s Parisian lifestyle steeped in
art. It was also an American era termed the Roaring Twenties, a time of revelry, high
culture, aristocratic tendencies, and the decade Lincoln truly took off as a
luxury automotive brand.
Lincoln successfully mirrored the era’s romantic and
artistic qualities in the 2016 MKX with a two-tone interior ambience of Rouge
Noir and Quarts, harmonized with Artisan aluminum trim. Additionally, Quartz
Venetian leather seats with Linking-L perforation inserts accentuate the Rouge
Noir Alcantara headliner.
