2016 Ford Mustang Special Packages Available

2016 Ford Mustang Special Packages Available

JACKSON, Mich. – The Ford Mustang is already king, and with many 2016 Ford Mustang Special Packages Available, the legendary vehicle will soon have more clout with buyers.

Let’s start with the Mustang California Special Package and Pony Package. Both were popularized in the 1960s and are set to make comebacks for the 2016 model year. The Mustang GT package will also stage its own iconic comeback, featuring hood vent turn signals as homage to the 1967’s turn signals, which became archetypal for the classic American pony car. In addition, individuals will be able to customize their purchase with new stripe, trim and wheel options for these packages.

A variety of options also will be available for the 2016 Mustang GT and Mustang EcoBoost®, including over-the-top racing stripes in black or silver, and a painted black roof alternative. Dibs on a few limited options that provide a new head-turning look for the Pony Package will be granted to the Mustang EcoBoost Premium, including 19-inch polished aluminum wheels, a tri-bar pony logo on the grille, a side stripe, and chrome window surround.

If black-on-black is more your style, you’ll be able to opt for the Black Accent Package on the Mustang GT, which includes 19-inch black-painted alloy wheels, a black decklid spoiler, dark taillamp trim, and 5.0 and pony logos in black. To take things further, those who purchase a Mustang GT Premium can opt for the California Special Package, which includes its own long list of unique features to make it a standout vehicle.

Looking for performance? Choose the Performance Package on the Mustang GT convertible with manual transmission to enjoy increased structural bracing and an updated suspension, brakes, wheels and tires, for a Mustang GT capable of driving over smooth or rough terrains with ease.

Lastly, Ford’s new SYNC®3 system will be available for Mustangs outfitted with the Premium Package. Communication and entertainment for drivers will be easier than ever thanks to the updated interface, voice command and AppLink™ technology that offers the capacity to update system software by means of any open Wi-Fi network.

Ford and Microsoft's Partnership Continues with SYNC 3

Ford and Microsoft's Partnership Continues with SYNC 3
JACKSON, Mich. - While Microsoft will no longer be overseeing Ford's operating network for their latest infotainment system, they still will be contributing to SYNC 3 as cloud-support that will work to remotely update the systems within all Ford and Lincoln vehicles.

Ford and Microsoft's partnership continues with SYNC 3, Ford's latest infotainment system that will soon replace MyFord Touch and MyLincoln Touch come this summer. Microsoft's Azure global cloud-based network will serve vehicle owners by wirelessly upgrading their SYNC 3 systems. Customers will not even realize that the software was updated until they receive a notification that the upgrade is complete.

Along with the seamless upgrading tactics, Microsoft's cloud will also make it possible for drivers to complete some remote activities like starting the vehicle or checking the fuel gauge. Thanks to Ford and Microsoft continued partnership, Ford SYNC 3 will recognize vehicle owners use of the system as well as their driving habits. Ford is hoping that with this obtainable information and their continued relationship with Microsoft, they will be able to provide customers with an even broader array of connectivity services.

Given the various resorts of glitches with Ford's previous SYNC system, the automaker opted to use Blackberry's QNX on-board operating system this time around. SYNC 3 will feature a simpler layout, larger fonts, and a easy-to-use touchscreen that can swipe up, down, or across. All Ford vehicles within the United States are expected to be equipped with the new system by the end of 2016, followed by the rest of the Ford vehicles around the globe by 2018.

SPRING into the new season behind the wheel of a brand new vehicles from your local Ford Dealership serving Stockbridge, MI! Ford SYNC® 3 Takes Connectivity to the Next Level

Ford SYNC® 3 Takes Connectivity to the Next Level
JACKSON, Mich. - Ford SYNC® 3 Takes Connectivity to the Next Level, offering a faster, more intuitive, easier to use communication and entertainment system to consumers. Building upon the current capability of SYNC technology, SYNC 3 is taking another step forward in improving Ford customer's experience and providing them with features that they want the most while on the road.

Customers will not only notice an all-new touch screen with smartphone-like capabilities, like pinch-to-zoom and swipe, but also that the home screen features fewer graphics for a simpler look. Three zones - Navigation, Audio, and Phone - dominate the screen with a quick access function tray along the bottom. Drivers will now enjoy a more straight-forward experience, making for easier control and limiting the number of times they will need to glance at the screen.

AppLink™, which is currently used on Ford SYNC to control in-vehicle apps through voice commands, has also made some improvements. Connecting your smartphone to your vehicle and controlling all apps using voice commands or buttons has never been easier thanks to AppLink's faster, more responsive, and easier to use technology. The SYNC 3 layout has helped to improve integration and create a more user-friendly experience for Ford customers.

Ford SYNC 3 also has an all-new voice-recognition technology, minimizing the number of steps needed to carry out a command. The system can easily identify basic commands like "play <song, artist, or album>" without the driver having to identify the category. Voice search results have also been altered. Now the system will be able to understand how consumers typically refer to businesses and points of interest. For example, rather than saying "Detroit Metropolitan Airport", drivers can say "Detroit Airport".
