Alan Mulally Retiring on July 1st; Mark Fields Stepping In President and CEO

Mulally is retiring after almost eight years of leading Ford, ending an exceptionally successful 45-year career. Ford Motor Company has attained 19 consecutive quarters of profitability, developed some of the strongest product lineups in Ford history and has fully committed to the most ambitious global expansion in half a century. 

In 2012, Mark Fields was named Ford's chief operating officer and has been leading all of the global business operations and skill teams -including development, manufacturing, purchasing, marketing, sales and service- for Ford ever since. Fields is truly honored to start his journey leading such an outstanding company and team into the future. Sweet Treats for Easter

JACKSON, Mich - Looking for delicious and simple Sweet Treats for Easter? We have a tasty selection of simple recipes that will definitely satisfy your tastes buds! Don't worry about a ton of clean up or spending hours in the kitchen, all of these recipes have minimal ingredients and can be made in a snap! In fact, these treats are so easy that we were able to make most of them based off of a photo. How much more convenient could that be?

  

Who doesn't love a marshmallow Peep? Add a spin on this Easter classic by dipping them into chocolate and adding sprinkles or colored sugar. 

Ingredients: 1 package melted white or milk chocolate

1-2 packages of Peeps

1 container of sprinkles, colored sugar, etc.

Divide this treat into small bags or set it on the table as a pre-dinner snack! It is crunchy, sweet and will have you reaching for more after the first handful! Spread the pretzels, popcorn and Chex cereal out on a baking sheet covered in parchment paper. Pour the white chocolate over the mix and stir to coat every piece evenly. Drizzle the sprinkles over the mix and let it harden on the cookie sheet. Once the mix is hard, break apart into a large bowl or bags, add in the M&M's and enjoy!

Ingredients: 2 cups pretzels

1 bag popped white popcorn

1 package white melting chocolate

1 bag of festive M&M's 

2 cups of Chex cereal

1 container of colored sprinkles
Parchment Paper
Baking Sheet

Rice Krispie Treats are always a good idea! Once you have made your treats, cut them up into squares or with an egg shaped cookie cutter if you're looking for some extra Easter cheer. Melt the bag of chocolate over the stove and dip each treat into the chocolate. Lay on parchment paper to dry and top with sprinkles or candies. Let the treats harden at room temperature.

Ingredients: 6 cups of Rice Krispies Cereal

10oz mini marshmallows

1/4 cup of butter (1/2 stick)

1 bag of chocolate candy melts

1 container of sprinkles

Egg-shaped cookie cutter (optional)

Parchment paper

You can't beat the combination of salty and sweet! Once the chocolate has been melted, add the pretzel sticks to the pan. Stir them in carefully until they are completely coated. Form the pretzels into small "nests". Place the nests in the refrigerator for an hour and then use the extra melted chocolate as a "glue" to stick M&M's Speckled Eggs or any other candy of your choice on top!

Ingredients: 11-ounce bag of Milk Chocolate Morsels

2-3 cups of pretzel sticks (broken in half)

M&M's Speckled Eggs (or candy of your choice)
Parchment Paper

It is "Ford Accelerated Action Day"!

JACKSON, Mich - It is "Ford Accelerated Action Day" and Ford Volunteer Corps are gaining the help from over 500 Ford employees to brighten up local communities. Southeastern Michigan will be seeing plenty of Ford faces around the area today as they work for children and families within the community.

Ford employees will be renovating family centers, painting shelters and assisting in the building of homes around southeast Michigan. Several organizations will be sharing more than $57,000 in Ford grants that will provide tools, supplies and any materials needed to complete the projects. Today, Ford Motor Company is focusing on high-priority projects around the community. The company is utilizing their people and recourses to the best of their ability to help provide a brighter and prosperous community.

Ford Motor Company has partnered with the following nonprofit organizations, which will receive up to $5,000 in Ford grants for the projects:

- Arts & Scraps, Detroit – Organize and inventory robots materials
- Focus: Hope, Detroit – Create family literacy area at Center for Children
- Girl Scouts of SE Michigan, Detroit – Assemble learning kits for girls
- Grandmont Rosedale Development, Detroit – Transform vacant house into a family’s home
- Habitat for Humanity, Monroe – Install flooring and hang kitchen cabinets
- Junior Achievement, Detroit – Assist students with financial literacy exercises
- Matrix Human Services, Detroit – Pack baby shower baskets with infant necessities
- Methodist Children’s Home, Redford – Clean, paint and create a sensory wall
- Northville Community Foundation, Northville – Secure flooring in Maybury Farm barn
- Penrickton Center, Taylor – Restore resonance boards and repaint murals
- Ruth Ellis Center, Detroit – Paint residential facility
- Salvation Army, Denby Center, Detroit – Refresh residential cottages
- Starfish Family Services, Inkster – Participate in literacy activities with children
- Vista Maria, Dearborn Heights – Paint interior common areas and living quarters for girls
- World Medical Relief, Detroit – Assemble basic hygiene kits

Ford employees from all over the global volunteer in their local home towns or villages year round. Days like today have been created to accomplish larger projects as a team. King Ranch and Ford's 15 Years of Partnership Celebration

JACKSON, Mich - In 1999, started the beginning of Ford Motor Company and King Ranch's beautiful frienship. For the last 15 years, the partnership have shared mutual philosophies of authenticity, toughness, integrity, and quality. King Ranch and Ford's 15 Years of Partnership Celebration has resulted in the debut of three new 2015 King Ranch edition trucks as well as a beautiful gallery of photos taken by Texas photographer, Wyman Meinzer. Meinzer has captured the authenticity that Ford and the ranch's partnership represent.

With over 4,000 photos, Wyman Meinzer captured the three latest King Ranch edition trucks in their natural habitat, on the King Ranch in Kingsville, Texas. As a born and raised cowboy, Meinzer knows what it takes to capture the true essence and beauty of both the ranch and trucks. These trucks were made to get down and dirty, which is the exact way Meinzer wanted to present them. You can see the entire gallery of photos on Ford.com!

Of course, how else would Ford celebrate a huge milestone? Debuting new vehicles, of course! The three newest King Ranch edition trucks are beautiful representations of the King Ranch and its story. It was important for Ford color and materials designer, Aileen Barraza, to visit the ranch several times to grasp its true personality.
