According to AutoPacific, and automotive research and consulting group, trucks from Ford deliver the most satisfaction to truck buyers. This helped the 2015 Ford F-150 and F-Series Super Duty win Vehicle Satisfaction Awards from AutoPacific this year.
“The Vehicle Satisfaction Awards look at the big picture, including owners’ experiences with overall quality and safety, but it goes deeper than that,” said George Peterson, president of AutoPacific. “We also take into account the heart of the ownership experience to determine those vehicles that are extremely satisfying to their owners.”
AutoPacific chose winners of its Vehicle Satisfaction Awards
based on an assessment of owner satisfaction determined by 50 disparate vehicle
attributes, from fuel economy and performance to interior comfort and styling.
The F-150 is already stacked with accolades like best-in-class towing, payload and EPA-estimated gasoline fuel economy, as well as a five-star crash test rating from the government for each of its cab types. The F-150 earned AutoPacific’s Vehicle Satisfaction Award for light-duty pickups, acquiring the second-highest owner score ever and the highest truck rating ever.
The F-Series Super Duty is lauded with best-in-class diesel horsepower and standard torque, and won AutoPacific’s Vehicle Satisfaction Award for heavy-duty pickups. The F-350 recently earned the 2015 Best Retained Value Heavy Duty Truck award from Edmunds.com, and winning AutoPacific's Vehicle Satisfaction Awards gives Ford the privilege of touting their pickups as the best across multiple segments.
