JACKSON, Mich. – If you could see the world with the 2016 Lincoln MKX 360-degree camera, where
would you go?
Six artists chose White Sands National Park in New Mexico as
their destination, and – similar to the MKX camera’s ability to fasten together
inconspicuous objects and scenery from multiple angles – were inspired to
produce Surrealist images, film, and poetry from myriad points of view.
The 360-degree camera is able to capture footage in front of, above, on either side of, and behind the MKX, and can produce a 180-degree split view useful in cross-traffic instances. The Lincoln Star badge on the grille comes forward and angles up to expose the camera behind it. This mechanism and the technology used to clean the lens are a first in the auto industry.

The artists inspired to see the world with the 2016 Lincoln MKX 360-degree camera are Grant Legan, Olivia Lopez, Chris Hainley, Leslie Bembinster, Laruen Steele, and Duncan Wolf. The talents of these artists run parallel with the innovation of Lincoln.
